Then join us at Q Station in Nob Hill for YPA Creator’s Night 2: Working with Agencies, where you’ll connect directly with some of Albuquerque’s leading advertising, communications, marketing, and creative companies and learn about the creative evolution happening right before our eyes, all while mixing and mingling with dozens of other like-minded creatives.

Meet the Speakers

Laurene Rodriguez, MBA, Founder & CEO, Mariposa Marketing

Laurene Rodriguez, MBA is the Founder and CEO of Mariposa Marketing, a full-service marketing agency built from the ground up, starting in 2017 with little more than a laptop and a dream. Born, raised, and educated in New Mexico, Laurene is passionate about helping local businesses grow and contributing to the economic progress of the state she proudly calls home. Laurene has led marketing initiatives for hundreds of New Mexico's businesses and organizations, including Meta, Albuquerque Public Schools, New Mexico Tech, New Mexico Piñon Coffee, Weck's, and many others.

As an entrepreneur at heart, Laurene is passionate about equipping and empowering the next generation of digitally minded creators, marketers, and business owners in our state. She believes world-class companies can be built anywhere, including right here in New Mexico. Laurene is committed to impacting New Mexico and using her work to make a meaningful difference for the people, businesses, and communities she serves every day.

Joshua Romero, Creative Director, Lavendr.


Joshua leads Lavendr's creative vision, directing campaigns that help brands communicate with clarity and impact. With over a decade of experience as a creative practitioner, he guides projects from concept through delivery keeping creative strategy, storytelling, and execution tightly aligned. Joshua'a instinct for finding the human moment in every project is what makes Lavendr's work resonate and move audiences to act. 

Kayla Torres, Head of Social, SUNNY505

Kayla Torres is the Head of Social at SUNNY505, where she combines creativity, strategy, and collaboration to help brands tell meaningful stories. She believes you should create with purpose and never stop learning. Originally from Taos and a University of New Mexico graduate, Kayla brings experience in marketing, branding, and content creation, along with a passion for building communities both online and offline. 

Molly Zeinemann, Account Manager, McKee Wallwork

Molly Zeinemann is an Account Manager at McKee Wallwork, where she partners with organizations in and outside of New Mexico to solve business problems with her team of incredibly smart and dedicated creatives. She believes the best work starts with trust and strong relationships. A proud transplant from Wisconsin and graduate of UW-Madison, Molly wears the cheese-lover cliché as a badge of honor. She got her start in marketing by writing press releases andrunningsocial media for the parks and rec department in her hometown. Outside of work, you can find her reading books of all genres, hiking, playing volleyball, or befriending strangers.
